The Olomouc School in Midwifery was organized on 8-12 September 2025 by the Department of Midwifery, Faculty of Health Sciences, Palacký University Olomouc in cooperation with the University Hospital Olomouc under the Erasmus+ BIP No. 2024-1-CZ01-KA131-HED-000207333-16.
The objectives of the winter schools were:
- to learn about the best practices from each participating countries
- to carry out practical training in midwifery techniques with focus on physiological and pathological pregnancy
- to gain theoretical knowledge and improve practical skills in high-risk pregnancy and emergency situations
- to facilitate the implementation of EBM into practice
- to broaden the horizons of midwifery care, to deepen international cooperation
- for foreign students to practice and improve English communication skills and the ability to work in an international team
